This indoor/outdoor dome camera has a reinforced, coated acrylic dome with high impact resistance and a high grade hard aluminum base. Built to withstand sledgehammer blows, this design gives the camera a high tamper/vandal resistance factor making it perfect for outdoor use in many situations where a lesser camera wouldn't last. A premium 1/3-inch Sony video sensor and a 3.5-8mm auto iris vari-focal lens gives it increased versatility.
Other features include optional cable routing feature and anti-tamper screws. A 3-axis internal bracket lets you point it in virtually any direction and get a properly oriented picture. A built-in test monitor output make setup and maintenance fast and easy. Power input is flexible, letting you use either a 12VDC supply or a 24VAC supply, and hooking up power is simple and safe since this camera is designed with a non-polarized power input (that lets you hook up AC or DC power to the same point, with no need to worry about hooking up DC power backwards - input polarity doesn't matter (the camera corrects polarity internally).
