These cameras contain infrared sensitive video sensors that can see in complete darkness thanks to built-in infrared light sources. Each camera has an array of infrared LEDs that turn on when the ambient light level drops below a preset level. The camera automatically switches to black and white infrared mode and intruders are no longer safe in the dark. Video in normal light is in color.

Tamper/Vandal Resistance - Camera models with a "T" in the model number are specially designed with reinforced casings and hardware that make vandalism difficult and casual tampering usually impossible. These cameras are perfect for urban environments where they may be subjected to long periods of un-monitored operation. Cables are usually routed through the base or the bracket so they can't be pulled out or cut.

High Resolution - Looking for high resolution surveillance cameras? Take note of any model number with an "H" in it.

Varifocal/Auto-Iris Lenses - For special jobs you may want a special lens. Model names that have an "A" indicate the presence of a varifocal auto-iris lens. Please read descriptions carefully - lenses differ from camera to camera.
